Hello all!
I’m looking for a cruising club to join.
The wife and I have been boating on the bay for the last 20 years, but have never been to Cape May or the Delaware Bay.

we boat out of Two Rivers Marina, which is on the Bohemia River. Not looking to change marinas, just to join a club.

anyone?

Bill.

Your best bet in joining a "cruising club" is joining a local yacht club. They typically do a lot of cruising. Not sure what is available up by you though. Safe Harbor Bohemia Vista might have a club as most Safe Harbors do, but I think you need to be in that marina.

You can also look to see if you have a local active US Power Squadron, they usually have cruises planned as well. Despite the name they also include sail boaters. We had one in my area when I was a kid, it disbanded a couple of years before I purchased our first boat, but my family did a lot of weekend rendezvous and cruises with them when I was growing up.

I'm in sounds like a good idea.. Lets make our own cruising club... Where do you guys want to go... I'm not a fan of cruising down to cape may as its a lot faster and cheaper to drive down... For us in NJ at least... I like running to Greenport, Block Island, Sag, I still wanna go up the Hudson & a few spots on the Long Island sound...
