Official 370 Venture thread

Does anyone know what cooler (mfg and model) fits under the port side cushion?

What fault code is displayed on the generator screen? FYI the sea water pressure sensor tends to plug with salt. Check it by removing and cleaning.
 
Thanks for your reply. There is no code number displayed just "Fault Check Engine" displayed on the generator screen. I removed and cleaned the pressure sensor. Didn't help so I replaced it and still displaying the same code.

There should be a fault code, but you would need to look at the generator manual to identify what it means. You need to use the round button to scroll through event history messages. Do you have someone who is Kohler certified? Maybe Kohler can help find a repair company. Where are you located again? What generator model do you have? You realize you are in the 370 Venture Group, not 370 Sundancer?

Generator is the same model, Kohler 5EKD, as the other member who was experiencing the same problem. Thanks for the info regarding to ability see the fault code by scrolling through the event history. In my 2008 Sundancer generator faults always showed a code in the window rather than high level comment. Kohler certified repair people are running 3-4 months behind on service calls in Rhode Island. I had different problem last year which I eventually resolved before the repair person showed up after a 3 month wait. Marina has a call into the repair person but I want to continue to solve it myself if possible. I have the service manual which includes all the code descriptions. Will let you know what I find. Thanks again.

I feel you’re pain. It’s hard to find “workers” these days? We have similar issues in Florida. I spent $8000 rebuilding my generator a year ago. It still had issues, but I found a repair group that is conscientious and reliable. Lucky me? Getting ready for Tropical Storm tomorrow. Shouldn’t be a big deal.

Good afternoon gents. I can now officially post that we are proud owners of a 2013 Venture! Thanks a ton to @Tuhows! His post (#344) got my attention and in just a few days I was on a plane to Texas for an awesome weekend! Thanks for the hospitality, for your help with the logistics, and for the beautiful boat! I know its a small club but I am excited to be a part of it!
 
Has anyone replaced the factory plow anchor? Mine has a bend in it and isn’t holding as well. I understand it’s a 25lb anchor. When to look at replacement anchors, the manufacturers are recommending 35 lbs.
 
Hello all, new 370 Venture owner here. Wondering if anyone has had planing issues? I have trouble getting on plane with full gas and 6 people. No problems with less gas/people. Wondering if anyone has encountered this or changed props?

yep. i changed props. it fixed the problem.
