On our Parker boats Bahamas trip this summer we found that the White Anchor lite atop the radar arch had no water proof sealant when installed from the factory.
Hence the leaks in the overhead lights.
Our dealer mechanic found that all the 280,290 and 300's on the trip to have the same problem. They kindly fixed the problem on the spot!

Yep, my 300DA and previous 260DA had leaks from the arch. I wonder where the water goes when it runs down the insides of the arch??

In my 1993 300 it ends up in the Aft Berth.

Found out the hard way after a big storm two nights ago

In my 290, it ends up in the aft cabin too. Found out the hard way...lol.

One drop of silicon and a week of drying out the cushions/carpet and problem fixed.

Did that fix it? That is great news. I was pretty sure it was the radar arch as there is a clear hole there but then it seemed pretty dry at that location a few days after the rain.

However my Aft cabin was soaked.
