Official 370 Venture thread

Switched out the battery charger with a new ProNautica 1240p. Easier than I thought. Still get no response when turning ignition keys to the smartcraft or helm gauges. I've got power to the engines, the breaker panel and helm fuse board. I'm thinking maybe the DTS clean power harness fuse blew but I cannot find it anywhere. Have any of you noticed this power harness in your Venture? Location?
Look under starboard passenger (rear) seat cushions for main AC power breakers/switches. Fuse panel under steering wheel has 12v fuses. Under captains seat is 12v main switch and breakers. Confirm AC power status on main control panel in cabin.

Has anyone bought/sold a 370 venture lately? Wondering what was paid for it.

I am getting ready to list mine; however, no rush to sell. 100% Freshwater w/ all maintenance records since new. Used as a day boat only.

Kids are at the age they want to wakeboard/ surf so; I have started my search for a new wakeboarding boat. Plus, weekends are limited due to select baseball and competitive cheer/ dance.

I will keep you posted.

Yes. Let us know how it goes. I understand like used cars boats are hot selling

I installed a stern thruster that mounted onto my cavitation plate made by Sideshift. Ties into my existing bow thruster and came with a remote control that works for both! I love it, I'm back to zero stress

Can we overlay the radar onto the chart?

The best I can do is to have a split screen with the chart and radar.

Do you have a heading sensor installed? For Simrad, at least, I needed a heading sensor to allow the radar to overlay. To overlay, again on simrad, open standard chart, then in the menu navigate and turn on the radar.

Mine is the original Raymarine series c.
Now that you mentioned a “heading sensor”, I do recall seeing a message regarding no heading. I assumed it to be because I was messing with it at the dock.

Hi,
Having an issue with my generator and wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions:

Your cabin CO can be failing. There is a relay contact that must be maintained for the generator to run. I had to replace my CO detector and jumped the contacts out (2 white wire) at the pin connector.

Boat - 2103 370 SeaRay Venture
Generator - Kohler 5EKD
Serial - SGM325F7K

Bought the boat last July and the generator worked perfectly until about October. That is when this issue of it shutting down immediately after starting began.

Generator cranks, starts and then shuts down immediately leaving me with a check engine fault.

So far I have changed the fuel solenoid valve, both fuel pumps in the generator and replaced the CO detector in the cabin.

Before doing all of the things above I was getting an AUX error code. Now I am getting a Check engine fault code.

any help or suggestions would be appreciated

It may be the CO detector is giving the false positive CO signal. I have mine unplugged and it doesn’t interfere.

I have th 12-inch e series Raymarine display and color radar it does overlay on the Navionics screen, for what that’s worth. I have yet to get my radar tuned as well as it should be. It often misses “blips” that shouldn’t be missed.

Hi. I have the exact same problem. Starts and immediately shuts down. Generator display says Engine Fault while cabin display says Aux Fault. I have verified that this is not related to the CO detector (it works correctly and I have jumped the white wires on harness together and even disconnected that harness from the control module on generator). I have checked all the water pressure and flow sensors, etc, either jumping or replacing and still cannot get unit to stay running for more than 3 seconds. Have you been able to find a solution to our problem? I'm wondering if one of the boards or relays in the control module have failed. Control module was replaced in 2017. Thank you,
John
