I’m not just speaking for myself. There are thousands of people who still work and who need extra precautions against covid. I was also clear that I was fortunate enough to be able to transition to video conferencing. Not everyone can do that.
And I apologize but I don’t see where you made a suggestion for precautions. I just saw where you said to take them. Someone else said filter up but finding a filter supply in the summer of 2020 was damn near impossible.
FWIW, I don’t think we handled things appropriately for those that could not transition to working from home. I don’t have an answer for what we SHOULD have done but we effectively abandoned those people and that’s not cool. *Im including small businesses under “those people”.
Ok, I'll try again and I'llllll taaaaalk reaaaaaaaal sloooooooooow. If you are high risk, take precautions, which include:
1) Isolation, at least until they figure the virus out.
2) Get real PPE -- N95 masks, etc. when available.
3) High risk individuals get modified duty and/or working conditions, or go on unemployment while they isolate.
4) Avoid people like the plague.
5) Stay out of bars, restraunts, entertainment venues. No mosh pits.
6) Use hand sanitizer and wipe everything down.
Etc.
