So you got yourself COVID vaccine. Think you can’t get COVID? Think again.

Think back to when it was first identified. No one knew how it spread or at what rate. What kind of precautions would you suggest? Also keep in mind that ALL PPE was very quickly consumed by medical staff. So, I'll ask again. What kind of precautions.

Fortunately for me, I was able to transition from travelling to utilizing video conferencing tools to do what I need, and in doing so I have increased my productivity by a factor of 2.5, and my salary has increased by 50% because of that. But I realize that not everyone would be able to take advantage of the situation like that. If I wasn't able to adapt, I could very easily be living off of you guys right now.
I told you but you refuse to accept my suggestions.

Your suggestion was to "find a new job"? That's your "precautions" for covid?

Still believing the BS narrative that masks worked, lockdowns worked, and the vaccine works. What exactly is the vaccine supposed to be doing? If you can still get Covid, spread Covid after having the vaccine what good is it?
About $175 to Phizer, Maderna and/or JnJ.

Dude, reading is skill. Go back and try again. Hell, you yourself even shoots down your narrative by working remotely -- you managed to not travel and increase your earnings.

I’m not just speaking for myself. There are thousands of people who still work and who need extra precautions against covid. I was also clear that I was fortunate enough to be able to transition to video conferencing. Not everyone can do that.

And I apologize but I don’t see where you made a suggestion for precautions. I just saw where you said to take them. Someone else said filter up but finding a filter supply in the summer of 2020 was damn near impossible.

FWIW, I don’t think we handled things appropriately for those that could not transition to working from home. I don’t have an answer for what we SHOULD have done but we effectively abandoned those people and that’s not cool. *Im including small businesses under “those people”.

I will say that one thing we should learn from this is that we should all (us, government, medical staff, employees) stock a decent supply of filters. This virus has shown us that we are really poorly prepared to deal with a pandemic.

I travel for work.
I have health issues that make me more susceptible to covid. Your opinion is that I should find a new job, and give up on 25 yrs of my career?

Yes. Sounds reasonable for you to limit yourself exposure due to travel. What’s the option, make everyone around you wear a condom on their face?

Find a safer job. Simple.

Every ac in ‘merica has a filter. People still get viruses.

Y'all have fun with your boosters!

What’s your hold up on wearing a face mask? Do you have trouble breathing? Bad breath?

If nothing else they keep you from having to smell other people. Which is a huge win in my book.

How do you do that on a plane?
Wear a surgical N95 respirator that is well fitted and don't play with it on your face. Then you don't have to worry about all the other people. After the flight, take it off without touching the front and toss it in the trash.
