I have a 2004 Amberjack 290 with 350MPI inboards and v-drives. I have the parts manual and was able to find all three Sea ray part numbers for the seawater strainers in the boat. SRPN: 144717 (3/4"), 161521 (1"), 144741 (1.25") does anyone have a cross reference number for these to Perko or any other manufacturer/vendor?
Or maybe someone has a maintenance manual that calls out the PN of these gaskets independent of the strainer, i could not find it anywhere.
The strainers work fine and don't need to be replaced but I need new gaskets for the seals as over the years from cleaning them out the gaskets have been worn out. No current major leaks but I am really trying to get as little water leaking into the bilge as possible. Thanks

There are a lot of online vendors that carry these gaskets. For the most part you can just type "perko gasket xxx" where xxx is the size of the strainer. Here is the result of a quick search at Home Depot...

Sea Ray used both Perko and Groco bronze strainers and maybe others in the older boats. The Perko top usually has two wing nuts to remove and the Groco's top unthreads. You can purchase the gaskets from many sources (Defender, Great Lakes Skipper, West Marine, etc) but you need to know the brand, model, and size.
I worry a lot about these and hoses that are below the waterline as a failure can result in a sunk boat; If it were mine I wouldn't replace parts and seals other than with what the manufacturer specifies. I just rebuilt all of my strainers earlier this year; the seals come in a kit that rebuilds the entire strainer and the kit is cheap; I think for my 2 1/2 inch strainers the kit was $15...
