Tomorrow we are paying to have our 270 Sundancer hauled from Fort Loudon Lake to Celina Tennessee to put in on the Obey River just above the navigable portion of the Cumberland River. We will be spending the next 2 weeks traveling down the Cumberland then up the Tennessee to Knoxville. If you are along the way and have suggestions on anchorage, marina, restaurants, sights, beer times, etc I would love to hear them.

I think this is the first picture I have posted here of the boat after its 2019 makeover. I need to get a better one from the front and side.

Jerry Hay has a very informative website of a lot of the inland river system. Our trip will be similar to his only I have air conditioning.

That orange is popping! Won’t get lost in the marina!

We just spent a week on Dale Hollow lake, but that’s before the dam, and Celina is just after the dam, on the Obey River, so I have no information on marinas, anchorages, etc, but sounds like a great trip.

That sounds like an awesome trip, can't wait to see a write up on your adventure. We're at Blue Springs Marina on Watt's Bar, probably too close to home to offer a stop for you.

Nice looking, except for the burnt orange. Well, I guess if you have colors for a flower or is the daisy just a weed? burnt orange can't all be bad right...lol

Red and Black
Go Dawgs woot woot woot, sic em

Awesome trip always planned to do the other way around Knox to the end of Cumberland.

We’ve stopped by Blue Springs for fuel before but never stayed. We’ve stayed at Euchee back when they had the giant slide. We were planning on stopping on Watts Barr and trying Terrace View for a change.

@Loneranger - As a Vol Navy fan, "Anchor Down"! - and if you stop at Chattanooga, downtown has an Erwin Marina and downtown Chattanooga offers a lot! Stop by and see us!!
Prior to this trip a round trip to Nickajack and staying in front of the Aquarium in Chattanooga was the extent of our distance travels. We love the trip the Chattanooga. Staying in Chattanooga is a sacrifice day in case we end up with crappy weather, busted prop, etc that adds a few days.
