My 99 310 d a doesn't seem like the vacuum flush wants to refill with water like it did last year. Any ideas? If I hold the pedal up it will slowly fill.

It most likely is the the water inlet valve which is the pedal your stepping on its been a while but i think there is also a screen at the valve that could be clogged ! Maybe someone else can confirm that.

Okay, I see a little what looks like it could be a threat in the screen coming up from the bottom. Kind of looks like a Bolt head, do I just unscrew that and clean the screen and screw it back in or is it in line with the water line?

There is a kit with that bolt in it, relatively inexpensive, I would consider replacing it, they will cause a hard to track down leak. I think I bought mine from this site: https://seacoastservices.com/white-ball-shaft-w-spring-cartridge-kit/

Make sure the little plastic ball is still on top of the water inlet valve. I have seen them pop off and then the pedal doesn't put enough stroke on the valve to physically open it when pressed.

I was down there this weekend and took off the water line. Found a little screen completely plugged with calcium. Cleaned it out, reinstalled, toilet is like brand new LOL

I am going to look at this weekend, I am on my third summer with this boat and it doesn’t seem to fill as hood as it did when I first got her

You mean a fresh water leak? Where does the water go? into the bilge or into the tank? I ask because I'm seeing the same symptoms with my vacu-flush, AND I have a hard to find leak in my fresh water system. Just wondering if they could be related.
