Calling all 360 DA owners

Dave - I forgot about the anchor locker but I’ll check that tomorrow. I’ll let you know if I have an issue.
Thanks.
Purged the antifreeze out of the water system and bled the air out of each faucet and all good. My wife and daughters were happy to have the head back in service :)

How smooth is your ride when you are on plane at 3200 rpm? We recently relocated via truck from the Gulf Coast to the East Coast. When on plane we have vibration we don’t think was there before the move, but we had spent very little time on plane before. My wife really feels it sitting in the seat next to the helm. Thought it might be the cutlass bearings as we had a little play. Unfortunately that didn’t fix it. Next will be to have the props checked and then shaft alignment. Thinking maybe something got dinged during the move. Just want to make sure we are not chasing something that is normal pushing a boat of this size on plane.

I am also only making 19kts and burning 34gph (.55 mpg) with two onboard, full gas and water but nothing else on the boat. It seems like from here many of you get better performance than that.

Sounds like you have something going on. We run without any vibration on plane. Last season was our first with the boat and we changed the cutlass bearings and had the props reconditioned before launching but the few times we had it prior we also ran without vibration.
I usually cruise at around 3400 RPM and the Smartcraft reads +/- 15gph times 2. I just figured it’s a big boat with big gas motors. Sorry I can’t be no more helpful.

I used these on my bow lines last season for the first time and it worked out well. Truth be told I was a little nervous because I seem to be the only one in the marina using them.
You might start a trend!

Since your still in the water I would check alignment first, then proceed from there.

Has anyone added a 2nd transducer and have any pictures? I emailed SeaRay for drawings and recommended locations for adding a 2nd transducer and the 1 transducer that is there on my boat
( connected to smatcraft for depth and water temp) is not quite in the spot SR show on the drawings.

I had a 2nd transducer installed last winter but I don’t have any pictures. I’ll try to get some when I’m at the boat this weekend.

Thinking about upgrading to AGM group 31 batteries. Not sure if the battery charger is capable of charging the AGM batteries; has anyone done this upgrade?

Thanks to @Tripsdad for the info on his ride. Since cutlass bearings did not fix the problem we pulled the props and sent them to the prop shop. We figure maybe one got bent during the move (actually hoping that is the case). While they are gone marina is putting the boat back in the water and will check shaft alignment. Hopefully this will fix the issue.

UPDATE: Props are tuned and we picked up 2kts of speed on a quick test ride, but our vibration remains. Marina owner and tech went on the test ride with us and found that one of our dripless PSS shaft seals has a small leak and some vibration. Shafts will be pulled to fix the PSS seals and will check all alignments after the fix. Will also send the shafts off to be tuned and made true since the boat will already be hauled. We know we are going down many rabbit holes here, but we want the ride to be smooth and not to have any issues with the "drive train".

Sorry, I had an issue with the ram that lifts the engine hatch or actually the fiberglass where it connects that needed to be fixed. I got that repaired and just made a note to get the pictures this weekend.
I got down to the boat the today to take a picture of my transducers and it looks like I actually have 3. I haven’t traced the wires but the one on the port side looks like the newer one which must have been the one my marina installed for me last year. The one on the STBD side looks similar but has a different cable so not sure if that was connected to the old Raymarine or Smartcraft but I’m guessing that the one in the center is probably the Smartcraft.
I hope this helps.
