310 Sundancer Thread (2007 & newer)

I replaced the cockpit fridge. I don't have the model number right now, but I went ahead and put another Norcold in because it was what fit the best.
Thanks for the response, I guess I call NorCold and see what they say

I just looked at their website l, and compared the measurements.
My boat is unavailable, otherwise I'd look at the model number.

??? yes ???

But anyway, welcome to CSR!

Next project: has anyone successfully removed their salon (cabin) door on the 310/330 without removing the large port-side shroud that covers it when open? The screws that attach the upper 2 plastic door slides (which ride in the door track) to the door structure have stripped and allow the door to "rock" noticeably fore and aft . This play also causes great difficulty in opening/closing the door (requiring various amounts of undue force). Tracks and slides are clean/clear and have been lubricated.

I can remove the shroud but it appears to be a very involved effort (removal of factory colored caulking, hidden screws, etc) so I was curious if anyone here has tackled this project and has words of wisdom?

(I have searched exhaustively on the forums but most pertain to other/non-similar design doors. If this has already been covered for a current model 310/330, a link to that thread would be appreciated.)

Have you had any luck with this? My 2009 310 has a squeaky cabin door and it’s moving up at the top causing rubbing and now it’s scratching the paint. I need to fix this ASAP.

Anyone have experience replacing the following items?

The upper damper on the rear rumble seat?
The transom shower head? It’s currently missing.
There is a small domed antenna on the starboard side that is missing it’s cover and electronics are exposed so I need to get another one. It’s small, maybe 4 inches in diameter. Not a radar or tv antenna. Maybe gps? The boat does have Axius.
Has anyone replaced the windlass foot switch covers? Mine are falling apart.

Thanks in advance

I would try sea ray for part info. As for the dome I believe it is the gps antenna.

I replaced the windlass foot switches last spring. Defender was the best price I could find.
If you remove the mirror above the main bed, there's an access to the windlass controls.

Replacementboatparts.com will have the transom shower.

I snapped a picture and it’s says gps on it. Would it be possible to just get a new cover or I have to replace the whole unit?

The switches work it’s the just covers that look crumby. Can I just replace the covers or I have to replace the whole switch like you did?

Also, has anyone retrofit a shower head into this transom shower? A buddy down the dock has an original AquaTik I got a picture of for reference.

Are the twin 4.5’s , producing 250 hp each, powerful enough to move the 310 Sundancer?

I think you can replace the cover, but not sure about the rubber over the switch.
I wanted stainless covers so I replaced the whole thing.
Here's a couple of pics from when I did mine.

Great, thank you. So you just drilled more holes and used caulk?

The stainless ones sure look nice.View attachment 105480

so I ordered the ones you installed from the same company. I’m going to tackle this shortly. Do you have any tips or tricks to swap them out? Interior removal tips? I’m excited, I love the chrome look you have.

Also looking for a replacement for the ray240vhf if you or anyone else has done something with it.

I bought a new cord for my vhf, so I decided to keep it.
As far as removing the headboard mirror, I just took my time. The screw covers mostly broke, they're glued on. I should have taken more care to remove them.
It was pretty straight forward, I thought.
