None of this has to do with Trump or elections. It has to do with the political class continuing to chit on the working voters who pay the freight. They should all rot in hell as far as I'm concerned.

They don't even look at money the way we mere mortals do. If they run out of money they have but to print more or dip deeper into our pockets. If WE run out, we must either earn more or starve.

Or just create regulations, and then benefit from the regulations by investing in corporations that the regulations benefit.
 
The mistake most people make is in believing that politicians make their decisions to the benefit of the people. Most of them are blood sucking scumbags. They don't give a damn about any of us. They have no skin in the game. They are about putting forth legislation to benefit those groups who line their pockets and fund their campaigns. Until we the people wake the F up and force term limits on these scumbags, this will continue to the end of time. Nobody should be in Congress for 40 plus years. There is a reason for a term limit on the President and most Governors. Is your job guaranteed? Theirs shouldn't be either. But unfortunately the power to make the laws that would enact term limits are made by the people who would lose their power so they will never do it. We cannot sit by and just vote for incumbents unless they support term limitation. If they lie about their support, and they will, the voters have to remain steadfast and vote them out the next election, even if that means we might have to hold our noses and vote for the other party just to get rid of them.

If people voted intelligently and as knowledgeable contributors to society then "term limits" are intrinsic. Fix the root of the problem - the voting public.
 
Warren, BNSF was hard hit by the decline in the Powder River Basin (coal) few years back. in fact its still in a declining mode. Now with JB and federal leases it will be even more difficult.
 
Do you guys get it now? You had a President that pulled the GOP far right and inflamed the far left enough to vote and tip the scales. About half of the country leans left. Get over it. Its a fact. And some of those that are middle of the road republicans or party agnostic have moved and voted Democrat because the want the POTUS to be less far right.

So if you got the government you deserve. Not what you individually may have voted for, but the GOP let this happen. The election was not rigged. That is horse shit. I hate the far left green movements as much as you guys do. Maybe more cause its worse in Canada. Its too much too fast. But damn it, the fix is not a GOP moving far right. And its not a revolution. Its picking the right leaders in the GOP. Far right ain't gonna do it.

His most impactful accomplishment is dividing the GOP and losing the election. Almost everything else he tried to accomplish will be undone, and if the GOP can't get its shit together, it will stay that way for years and years. Sorry, I don't think that is much of an accomplishment.
