So facts don't matter, got it.
To the extent both of you are so sure the MSM never, ever reported that the summer protests presented a risk of virus spread, I'd say you both watch it too much.
There was a key difference between the BLM protests and Republican events. There was a clear effort to reduce infection risk at the protests through masks, distancing, outdoor venues and post-event quarantine. On the other hand, Republicans openly flaunted the danger with indoor venues, mostly un-masked attendees and no distancing. This was pretty clear to any observed whether they saw the events on MSM or not.
You forgot the structure fires. That helped BLM not acquiring the virus.

If you really believe those thugs obeyed social distance rules and quarantined after destroying peoples livelihoods and causing millions of $$$ in damage then I have a bridge I'd like to sell you

Yeah, I was going to comment on that one, but decided it's not worth it. Our local news covered the Seattle and Portland riots daily, and those people were didn't give two shits about the virus.

That statement right there made me laugh so hard, that someone actually believes that.

You guys paid attention to the riots. Understandable, because that got the most coverage. As I said, the rioting usually occurred early on and was either suppressed or quickly died out and didn't involve a large amount of people; I agree the rioters certainly weren't following any kinds of rules. The protests involved lots more people and was much more tame and the participants were almost uniformly masked. The same dynamic in terms of riot vs. protest occurred in DC on 6 Jan. The crowd that assaulted the Capitol was orders of magnitude smaller than the rest who demonstrated outside the Capitol grounds; the peaceful protesters in this case were conspicuously unmasked.

alnav, I called them riots. I never once heard them called anything other than peaceful protests by our local news stations.
The riots did NOT quickly die out, maybe they did where you live, but they sure didn't where I live. Not in my town, but close by. You know, the funny thing is, our governor and the mayor of Seattle encouraged them leading up to the election, now when they happen, they're calling them riots and arresting people.

Yep, the democratic governor and mayor told police to stay back and not to interfere with them. Maybe they should have been impeached too

Yeah. When your city is on fire, including a police precinct and your Governor doesn’t call the National Guard until days after, you tend to pay attention. Call me crazy.

See how they do it Ollie, what did happen isn't important, what 'they' say happened is.

The next thing you know the cultured sophisticated folks will call for restrictions on Conservatives so they can't write a book. Actually they already are, they feel some folks 'should not have their philosophies remunerated and disseminated through our beloved publishing houses”.

They say it's necessary to stop the spread of 'evil' ya know.

Son called yesterday morning saying his co-worker (they are the only 2 on their team) called him and said he couldn't smell the hand sanitizer. Co-worker went and got tested and tested positive. Their boss told my son to go get tested ASAP and to not report to work if it is positive. My son has had a cold the last few days. Son went and got tested and tested negative thankfully.

Black Lives Matter movement nominated for Nobel peace prize
BLM has caused more racism than it has helped. Race and racism had never entered my mind 2 years ago. Now you can't turn the TV on without hearing about it every 2 minutes. On top of that to see all of the damage and destruction they have done it has shined a negative light on them and their cause.
