Celebrating America? Gag me with a spoon please!

Woody, be honest and admit your graph, using manipulated numbers, was actually published by the Cato Institute, not by ICE as is implied. The Cato Institute, once fully funded by the Kochs, is one of the leading manufacturers of Republican toxic propaganda, cynically undermining science and scholarship to serve the interests of tobacco companies, oil and gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, health insurance, financial industry and other Cato donors. Cato alumni have gone so far as to publishing material suggesting Blacks and Latinos are genetically inferior to whites.
What's with this goofy post? Am I supposed to feel 'debunked'. You're telling me I haven't been honest and the numbers are manipulated. That's the stupid BS the MSM pulls often, they 'debunk' things simply by saying they aren't so.

Here's another graph, anything look familiar to you? Just because you don't like the user of the data or publisher of a graph doesn't make the underlying data false. You say numbers are manipulated, I say prove it.

Lets see your picture. Show me what you're talking about. I wanna see 'the photo'.
You can easily look it up but here's a fact check for you. Facebook has clearly noted that the post violates their factual information guidelines. Next time do some research other than what Trump says. He always lies.

Your information distorts the truth because it is without context and is incomplete.

According to an analysis by the Migration Policy Institute, more than 10 million people were “deported” – either removed or returned – from the US during the Bush administration. Far fewer – more than 5 million – who were removed or returned during the Obama administration. Even those numbers alone don’t tell the whole story, though.

“A straight numbers-by-numbers comparison doesn’t provide an accurate picture of what was going on in the administration,” Cecilia Muñoz, who was a top domestic policy adviser says. She argues that Obama prioritized deporting people convicted of serious crimes and recent arrivals who had no criminal records. “If you’re not targeting and focused on people who recently arrived, then the border is effectively open,” Muñoz said, adding: “It is more humane to be removing people who have been here two weeks than it is to be removing people who have been here for 20 years and have families.”

Trump, by stark contrast, has rejected the policy of focusing on new arrivals and criminals and instead wants to deport as many people as possible. Big deportation numbers cater to his base. It’s impossible to ignore his anti-immigrant rhetoric. He infamously called some Mexican immigrants “rapists,” and "very bad people" , focusing his presidency around the idea that he would build a wall, get tough with Mexico and deport as many undocumented immigrants as possible. Trump’s raids came after years of claims that American citizens are harmed by the presence of undocumented migrants – from inviting crime victims to the State of the Union address to his recent effort to add a citizenship question to the census. His claims are without merit.

Obama used executive action to temporarily give protected status to undocumented people who arrived in the US as children, and curbed deportations from the interior states of the country. His focus, particularly toward the end of his administration, was on quick “returns” of only new arrivals at the border who were perceived to have had fewer ties in the US.

Yep. A lot better than this “beer.”

Back in the early 80’s I opened a bar at Ball State. Started selling imports way before imports became popular. A good customer loved another Canadian beer , Molson. He called it “Mothers Milk.”

WTF are you talking about. Sure number need context (see FBI states on Police shooting for example). However, you can cleary see from both charts Woody posted that Obama deported more people than Trump.

There's an old Canadian joke: What's the difference between American beer and making love in a canoe? None - they are both effing close to water.

Oh, grow up! If you bothered with the link it's from Politifact, checked and verified from several unbiased sources. Facebook was the source of the original picture in Woody's mistaken claim. Facebook has since recognized the suggestion that it was taken in Obama's tenure was untrue. Get it?

What I attempted to say, apparently confusing you, was the numbers were cherry-picked to manipulate the truth. The rationale for fewer actual deportations is that ICE is deliberately holding people for much longer. Non-criminals and families are currently spending an average of 60 days in immigrant jails, nearly twice the average stay ten years ago, and 11 days longer than even the convicted criminals. Between Oct. 1, 2018, and the end of September 2019, the Trump administration initiated more than 419,000 deportation proceedings, many more than at any time in at least 25 years, according to government statistics compiled by Syracuse University's Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse.

Who has a severe case of TDS.

Like COVID, TDS seems to have mutated. The new variant is called BDS, and you guys have it. The Democrats wore masks earlier and it seems to be working on TDS. I am not sure if masks will help you guys with BDS though.
