Biden and transparency? Let's see what they say when Biden goes back in his basement and Harris is President. Guaranteed that is their plan. They duped their supporters. Hasn't happened yet so can't claim they aren't being transparent but remember this post when it happens.

So Biden hopes the Defense Production Act can help with the covid vaccine. Isn't the supposed issue with states distributing the vaccine and not production?

uh, well duh.....our Governor is completely incompetent: https://www.startribune.com/minneso...cluded-in-covid-19-vaccine-rollout/600013050/
It's such a scam. Use of the DPA assumes someone isn't cooperating and/or allows the government to pony up some $$$. For example, we make some stuff that our customer sell to the defense department. We are notified when those items need to take priority over regular items. If we fail to do so, the government could force our hand. Of course, it never gets that far because we are a US company and support our country.

So I ask Mr. Biden to identify those companies who are not cooperating or need capacity expansion. Crickets, because it's more form over substance.

Indeed.

FYI I edited more info - sorry

We just had some items delivered by Big Box Lumber store. Driver put on his mask before he came to house. I told him he did not need to wear it outside. It is company policy he said. I asked if his store had any covid cases. Yes several. Average time off work was 3 weeks. No deaths. No side effects. Driver was 50 or so. Store employees range in age from late teens to late 60ies.

It’s all a scam. Follow the money. Not only are the reported cases hugely inflated but the deaths have been inflated worse.

Follow the money. Simple.

This is why I don’t wear a stupid mask nor will ever take the vaccine. Neither make any difference.

“There’s nothing we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic in the next several months.”
Joe Biden 1/22/21
There’s that Leftest defeatist attitude we’ve come to love.

Yeah. Dude may want to read up on US goings on before commenting. :)
Ha. You are right. Too busy this week to watch. I thought psaki was the fox reporter that tried to grill her and the point was he would be her worst enemy. My bad.

So heard on the news the other day MSM saying the whole Capitol Building thing being a 'super-spreader' event. Never once heard them call the Portland, Seattle, or Kenosha events 'super-spreaders'. In fact never heard them ever even mention COVID when talking about those events.

Why the Black Lives Matter Protests Didn’t Contribute to the COVID-19 Surge
  • There isn’t evidence that Black Lives Matter protests have led to a noticeable increase in COVID-19 cases, despite early concerns from health officials.
  • The reasons for the lack of transmission likely have to do with the protesters being outside in the wind and sun and most of them wearing masks.
  • People who attend other outdoor events, such as going to the beach or a ball game, tend to share indoor facilities like bathrooms, shops, and restaurants.

And they looted the businesses from outside? Seriously? The videos from each looked identical. Listen, I am not condoning what they did at the Capitol Building and think those that entered should be prosecuted but this is the kind of one-sided stories we get from MSM. We never get facts from them, only opinions and what they want us to see and hear.

They were wearing masks? Cause they follow all the rules I guess. And when the BLM protestors took over Seattle for weeks where did they go to the restroom? Outside? Well that creates it's own viral issues. Inside? Well that blows up your 'fact' you posted.

Structure fires and looting kills the virus.

They where wearing mask's so they would be harder to identify while they looted the neighbor hood.

Much like what happened on 6 Jan, the overwhelming majority of the participants in the George Floyd murder-inspired events were peaceful protesters. The pattern was usually some rioting/looting at the very beginning that was suppressed fairly quickly and involved a relative handful. And yes, the peaceful participants who remained were conspicuous in wearing masks.
It's bit of a stretch to indict a healthcare-focused web site as somehow biased because it doesn't exactly agree with a particular narrative. The article provides sources for the facts presented and is not an opinion piece.
I'm not all that familiar with what went down in Seattle in terms of covid spread but, looking at the overall stats for covid in the U.S., Washington state is at the very bottom in terms of both low numbers of cases and deaths per capita, despite having been the first epicenter of the virus.
I have not seen evidence that the 6 Jan events themselves were superspreaders. There is evidence that the responding police and NG forces are getting large numbers of positive tests. That's being attributed to communal indoor berthing and messing arrangements.

I think you miss the point. It's not about the actual facts of what events spread what. It's about the breathless media narrative -- Republican gatherings are super spreader events, Democrat gatherings are not.

Correct. My comment wasn't specifically about the site and facts that were posted, that was just an example. But yeah the other day they said the Jan 6th event was possibly a super spreader. My point is not once did I ever hear MSM say the protests might be responsible for spreading anything. If one spreads them then both spread them. No way around that but MSM wants to deliver their narrative so you only get one side.

Oh, and the NG are getting hit after bring forced by the dem's to sleep in a concrete parking garage. That is disgraceful. Pelosi, et al, should be giving up their beds for them

So facts don't matter, got it.
To the extent both of you are so sure the MSM never, ever reported that the summer protests presented a risk of virus spread, I'd say you both watch it too much.
There was a key difference between the BLM protests and Republican events. There was a clear effort to reduce infection risk at the protests through masks, distancing, outdoor venues and post-event quarantine. On the other hand, Republicans openly flaunted the danger with indoor venues, mostly un-masked attendees and no distancing. This was pretty clear to any observed whether they saw the events on MSM or not.
