Went to the Stuart boat show this weekend and no SR’s. None. Nada.
Shame. The boat market here is very hot. SR could have made a splash.

With as hot as it is, probably don't need to "waste" time at a show.

You gotta love Florida...all the shows are virtual up here

Speaking of new SRs ...

Does anyone know what happened to all of the Sundancer models?

It used to be there were a ton of variations, but now if you look at their web site, there's only the 320.

They look to be basically out of the cruiser market. Sad as they originally set the standard.

Did they have inventory? Although our Fall show was canceled, may dealers said they would have likely passes, as they had no inventory..................sold it all the 3 previous months. So yes, market is hot. Im hearing new buyers that are spec'ing out a custom build are being given build slots in June and later.

And their cruisers have a bow rider deck. Just not my cup of tea anymore. I still think the Sea Ray yachts including the older DAs and DBs are some of the nicest on the water. Cruisers and regal are close too.

The Sundancers from the 80s up to the past few years have been spot on. Always seemed to me to strike the right balance. Other than the engines being too close on many models, nothing to complain about. Now, I have zero idea what they are doing with their "bow rider" concept up front. Even on the Great Lakes it's not uncommon to get a little wet. I can't imagine that being a usefull area except for puttering around. I guess that's what the market is doing. Even Tiaria is going with the bow riders.

Toronto International Boat Show on now is virtual.

The Atlantic City Boat Show has been postponed to April. It's still in person. I'm guessing the organizers are hoping that enough people will be vaccinated by then to have a decent crowd.

Locally, we had a small indoor boat show last weekend in Fredericksburg, VA. They had you buy tickets within a time slot to minimize the number of people there at one time. It worked pretty well when I was there on Saturday. Most of the boats at the show were pontoon boats.

The local Sea Ray dealer, Prince William Marine, only had a few boats there and I was told by another vendor that it was because they didn't have more inventory to show.

No SRs at St. Pete’s boat show last weekend either even though several other open bow manufacturers were represented.

Fell in lust with the Formula 330 CBR and the 380 SSC outboard.
