Hello,

The big back seat cushion that goes across the transom of our 1999 Sundancer 310 DA has finally succumbed to years of sundamage. I've got it off the boat (that was fun) and now I need to find a shop to reupholster it. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good shop in the NoVa/D.C. region? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Regards

Ben

My advice is to break out your wallet or go south. Look fo upholstery shops near Woodbridge Virginia or pay for perfect and demand it when it’s not.

Renegade Canvas (http://www.canvasrepairforboats.com) is in Woodbridge and is sort of the "in-house" canvas shop for Prince William Marina, a Sea Ray dealer, so they know the brand pretty well. I had some work done there a while ago and they were reasonably priced, at least at that time. They did excellent work.

They did good work for me as well. Fixed a Bimini and a mooring cover. Gotta pay though.

I will "third" the Renegade Canvas work. They made my polycarbonate pieces between the windshield and hardtop last winter. Tell Chris that Jay sent you!

thanks all, Renegade Canvas is ten min away... will have to make an inquiry.
