Have you guys seen these? Etsy shops apparently will use old filter cans to make tumblers. They have both CAT and Cummins. I feel like I have to get one made, just a question of a 1 gallon oil filter or the fuel filter instead :)

really cool... I am going to order a Cummins one.

I don’t know if I could drink from an oil can. Something about it makes me think I will accidentally drink some oil one day by accident. Kind like when you’re at a party and you pick up the wrong beer bottle that was used for an ash tray.

I'll take a pass on the tumbler made out of an old oil filter and sealed by a some kind of lacquer.

If I feel the need to show my affinity for my engines, I'll just buy a regular tumbler sold as a tumbler not a converted oil filter that may well have old engine oil (which is a carcinogen) in it and sold by someone who recycled it and then tried to make a huge mark-up on Etsy.

Yeah, now that I have to protect my kidneys with extreme care, I think I would avoid that too...the less chemicals into the body, the better. They are probably fine, but you never know. They do look cool though, it give it that.

Haha fair enough on the old oil. They just take the skin and put it under the plastic outer shell of the tumbler, the inside is a standard insulated tumbler
