I have what I believe to be UMT dinghy chocks on the platform they had a hard material on the top surfaces to keep from scratching the hull of the dinghy well mine are all but missing and I tried contacting UMT and checking their website I cannot find this stuff anywhere
Does anyone know what the name is? Or have another suitable material used?
Thanks

I had the same issue recently when I purchased my Highfield CL 310. I bought a 10ft length of vinyl dock rail and trimmed to fit my chocks. Here's the link: https://boatliftwarehouse.com/product/vinyl-4-75in-rubrail-5008/

I have a GHS lift, and know they use Delrin. However if my memory is correct I believe UMT/TNT does as well.

I have the same chocks. Lost a piece of padding while on a trip. Fashioned a temp pad out of a beer Coozie that I duct taped on till I got back home.

Friend of mine gave a piece of the original material which I can now cut to length and glue on.

I need some more for backup. Will get you a piece also.

Mark if you can find out what the brand name is I’ll buy it I need to do both chocks. I do appreciate everyone’s help...

My chocks are from yrmcustom.com. They are custom to fit the underside of the RIB.

The first set I had on previous boat had pads that glued on top. They have now changed and have pads that wrap around.

There is contact info on the yrmcustom.com website, not sure if they sell just the pads or not.

The other FL contact for anything related to dinghys, tenders, chocks, or liferafts is Suncoast Inflatibles.

http://www.suncoastinflatables.com/ 727-572-4317. They are really good. Highly reccommended. They are a local dealer for yrm chocks, they can probably get the material. (located in Clearwater, but work all over south florida).

Joe,

I had the exact same chocks and even the new pads came off again. YRM was where I got the replacement pads and glue.

Mark - that looks like a great improvement.

I ended up ordering new chocks from GHS and solved the problem. The were about $108 each times 4...

Ok I spoke to my buddy GREG (CSR) he replaced his with a Butyl Medium Rubber
using 5200 and no worries only problem is they don’t make white or grey so I had to order black not a deal breaker. Thanks for the suggestions.

Here is what I replaced my YRM chocks with. Not my boat, but I saw this at Tarpon Point last weekend 86A32297-5DBA-430A-92AD-AADC1449F986.jpeg
