Hi all can anyone help with a couple of issues I have with my 460 sundancer. The first one is window sprayers for the windscreen continuously leak water when Fresh water pump 1 and 2 are on and it is priming every minute. I have disconnected the wiring from the switch on the dash but this has not resolved it. How can we stop this leak from the sprayers. I have spoken to someone about this issue and trying to find out where the solonoid is that would be connected to the front sprayer.

Secondly when water tank is full alarm will come on from the systems monitor saying " front pump emergency" - why is this?
 
Can't help with first problem, but second sounds a lot like a leak it water tank or the hopefully just the fill hose. The bilge is coming on because of this

I will see if I see the solenoid on my buddies 46 later today when I am at the dock. He will know if no one else chimes in. In regards to the bilge alarm, you have a leak in the main cabin somewhere. You need to get to the pump in the aft cabin area floor under the couch and trace the water back to the source. it could be the freshwater tank has a leak from a hose when full.

Also welcome to CSR, where are you located... In the future you might want to post your 46DA questions in that forum directly as their may already be an answer to them if you search that forum since there is well over 100 pages of info already
 
on second though since you say the pump is running and the wiper solenoid may be in cabin causing your bilge pump to run... Need to find it
 
Here you go. Start in the main cabin storage "coffin" where are the plumbing is. If that hose is broken before the solenoid or the solenoid is stuck open there is your leak into the cabin and hence the alarm. I love a chase....

Windshield washer solenoid is under the cabin floor in the first compartment just starboard of the Beam central vacuum unit. Awkward spot but most of us have replaced it already.

My 2003 460 forward bilge alarm comes on every time I fill the fresh water tank. The overflow goes into the mid cabin bilge and sets off the alarm. Also, when running the boat just after filling, whether coming up on plane or in rough seas with a full tank, I may still get anther one or two alarms as the water flows into the bilge. I used to think I have a leak but it was just the overflow. I let it overflow now, on purpose, as it cleans out the old bilge water that would be left standing for a long time if not flushed out.
