That end of the marina is a dead end. Don't recall much current. It was very windy, that might have been moving him around a lot.

Few observations
1) Those kids are annoying and overreacting. They were in no danger. Calm down!
2) The Tiara probably has less damage then you'd think. Those are built like tanks! Trust me I have one of that approximate age. Carver on the other hand.......well.......good luck.
3) That idiot should never operate a boat again.
Just think his next step was to probably get in his car and drive home. See it all the time at my marina. I have seen people so drunk they were puking off the boat or laying on the dock and leave the marina. I have pictures to prove it if you think I'm exaggerating. Idiots!
4) I hope that guy is screwed. No way that was a honest error of judgment and loss of spacial awareness.

I think I read somewhere that the boat was a “charter”. Rental would explain a lot.
