Keith, looking for some advise here and not sure if you know but thought I'd ask. I received the pump today and I'm ready to install but after looking at the ECM, it's not really clear to me where to start. Should I remove all the electrical connections? If so, is it as simple as using an Allen wrench to loosen the connectors? Are there 4 nuts/bolts holding the ECM on? Any insight you or anyone can share?View attachment 92919

Looks pretty straight forward

Jeff, this is the diagram I based my opinion that it shouldn't be that difficult to change the pump. It took my mechanic about two hours to change the pump and I would attribute about an hour to the difficulty of accessing the starboard outboard pump. Post some photos and report back on your project.

Jeffery, any news on your pump install?
Grant, I finally got around to this. It was much harder than I anticipated. If I had to do it again there are a few things I would have done different. If you have to do this and your after-cooler is in need of maintenance, I'd suggest doing them at the same time. I have no idea how someone would be able to do the starboard size. They'd have to be 5' tall and 80lbs.

Looking to purchase a 2008 48 Sundancer. Does anyone have any pictures of the salon couch pulled out into the bed? I have been searching forums and watching videos and haven't found anything that shows the couch pulled out. Thanks!

Curious - why didn't you just pull the ECM/Cool Plate off the engine?

I can try and snap you one this weekend... pretty straight forward, doubles in size.

WOW... So Jeffery, what lead up to this anyway? What were the symptoms, quit running, no fuel?

Well, I actually did. The pics I posted were just to show the location once I got the mounting plate off. I think the way to do this is to take everything off and disconnect the fuel lines from the mounting point on the Fuel Cooer and fuel actuator making sure to note the orientation of the fuel lines on the fuel assist pump. This way you can mount the pump and tighten the fuel lines on the assist pump before putting it back on. I was trying to rush it and should have just taken my time...lesson learned.

Error/Fault Cod 2265 on the SmartCraft for Engine 2 (Port Side). It first appeared when I was in Sausalito over Labor day. I cleared It and made the 5 hour run back to Sacramento without incident. Then I took it out again and the code came back but this time the engine was cutting out above idle.

John, I'm considering selling mine as well. Looking to move up into the 55 to 60' range. Boat is in excellent condition with tons of recent service.

John,
Where are you located? Always good to know what part of the country you are in on this forum.

Ok...new project. Stole a pair of GS165’s I couldn’t say no. Fresh out of a mega yacht doing an upgrade. Monday I will get with Sam at Technographic and get a new panel cut so I can bolt them in.... I can’t wait.
