Looking to Replace / Sundeck 4.3L MPI Questions

I have searched and can't seem to find the answer to this. We have sold our 89 220cc and are looking at a 2005 Sundeck with a 4.3L. Does anyone know how they perform? Planing issues, speed, general power? I know they are 220 hp, but worried about the performance with a 21 ft boat? I know it's not going to light the world on fire, but would 45 mph top speeds and 35 mph cruise be out of the question?

I appreciate any advice anyone may have.
