Toilet flush problem - 1998 SD 290

Engines
(2) Merc 5.0 EFI
My toilet does not flush. It gets water and the holding tank is empty.
When I flush it and look down, the valve at the very bottom does not open as it normally does.
Any ideas?

It is a Vacuflush system by SeaLand.
 
Take the cover off the pedal, I think you will find the issue. There is a spring assembly that may have broken
 
Does the vacuum pump kick on when you try flushing- may have to check at the connection-also your pedal to flush may have a connection issue(spring)-just thinking of my own vacuflush system-also make sure the head system breaker is turned on;)
