I'm too lazy to make a poll, but anyone listen to Yacht Rock Radio during "these difficult times"? We find ourselves using the XM app and going back to that channel all Summer. Heard Michael Martin Murphy, 'Wild Fire' Saturday and I can't get it out of my head now.

Let's see if by the end of this thread Trump will be mentioned. :D

Yacht rock is a staple for the evening cruise:)

Years ago i got XM when it first came out. That damn song was always playing when I turned on the radio. And I heard it the other day. Ugh!

"There's been a hoot owl howling at my window now... for six nights in a row. She's coming for me I know.. and on Wildfire we're going to go..."

I haven't heard it in years, that's why it stuck I guess.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a rock guy and even sometimes metal or alternative rock, but the Admiral will have none of that.

What’s the channel number?

1. Coffee House
2. Yacht Rock Radio
3. Hits 1 (if my daughter and her girls are on the boat)
4. 103.1 WRNR (Tune In or Local Annapolis MD)
5. J Boog Radio (Pandora) Light Reggae...

Pandora has a Yacht Rock channel also. The playlist would by necessity be fairly limited because the definition is very limited.

Love it!

I have created a Pandora station that is loved but all my dock mates and even some of their kids.

I call it my Chris, Chris, Chris station. It began with Chris Rea, then added Chris Isaacs, then added Chris Stapleton. It features heavy doses of Mark Knopfler, Rod Picott, and Tab Benoit. Norah Jones and Mazzy star add some female voices and Pandora finds some good things to add and some things to be thumbed down.

My favorite songs on the station are hurricane by Band Of Heathens, and Mark Knopfler, trawlerman.

Classic Vinyl and Seriously Sinatra are the two I listen to the most.

I upgraded to a Fusion Apollo series head unit and dropped SiriusXM so I do all Spotify. Don't miss SiriusXM at all, got to be too much DJ rambling for me.
