Question: I have a 2001 Sea Ray 225 weekender and am wondering if the through hull fuel vent on the starboard side simply screws off? I dont want to kink what ever is on opposite side of hull when screwing off. Is it directly attached to a hose and not secured internally? How do I access it from inside of boat?.....Reason is I believe I have a fuel starvation issue and want to check....

Sorry I can't help with the vent removal but as to your starvation issue, try running with the fuel cap off.

Thats my plan until I get vent off...It only happens after I fill tank and cruise above 3000 rpm....When fuel level goes down I have no issue.

Based on your posts, it sounds like you you heave already verified that the vent system is the issue? There's typically no reason to remove the fitting as it's almost never the problem. But, there's a nut on the back side - and of course the hose is attached. Google for pictures and you'll see.

Check the vent line - look for low spots where excess fuel can accumulate from filling up too much. Also check the vent fitting screen for old wax and/or debris/bugs nests.

Lazy Daze...Thanks for the reply. I am not positive that venting is the issue. It's just all that I have read kind of points me in that direction. I will check the vent line, anti siphon valve too. It seems to only occur after I fill tank. Both times what I did was shut off engine for a few sec, re start and all was fine....Thoughts?

I'd just start with the suggestions given here. They will narrow things down. Doubtful it's AS valve as that would cause issues all the time.

I will definitely check that out......Thanks...I will report back any findings....

Your probably filling the tank higher than the vent fitting on it.
Certainly not uncommon for new boaters. Gotta listen for that "gurgle". Or install a whistler.
