Boat Info
1978 Sea Ray 260 Sundancer
Engines
454 Mercruiser w/Bravo 111 drive
At the helm about a foot or two below the steering wheel on the panel door I have a row of toggle switches that have jumpers between all of them. These switches on my boat have nothing connected to them except for one set of wires which may be what makes these toggles hot. Not sure yet on that. Does anyone know what these toggles were originally used for, what they were connected to? Appreciate any info. I'll include a photo when the sun comes up.

That looks like something a previous owner did for expansion... can't imagine Sea Ray would have put switches on a swing out door.

Never thought of that. You may well be right. I'm hoping to hear from anyone with a similar boat of the same year or so to see if they have them. That said perhaps you're right and maybe I can put them to use, I'm thinking GPS fish finder, stereo, etc.

I think you got it. Based on your idea this morning I looked at some for sale adds online with photos. The boats that are an exact match with mine don't have the spot light and none of them have those toggles or even the hatch door. Good to know. Thanks
