Boat will not plane out with heavy load

Cool fuel issues were resolved years ago on it. I thought I felt it slip on Sunday with just me and the wife but maybe it was just my mind playing tricks on me. RPM's definitely did not go up. So I am eliminating lower unit issues. I've had a lot of people on the boat before, maybe 7 plus coolers, and it seemed fine. That was a year ago.

Can you confirm that the drive trims all the way down?

Maybe a bad trim solenoid prevented it from being lowered all the way?

I had the 260 with the 350 MAG...and agree with @Lazy Daze , I have had a ton of people on it and never had a problem getting on plane or reaching top end. Have someone look at it.... for sure that boat is not under powered

Getting a read on the WOT should help point where to look. Any chance the prop got dinged up?

Thinking the 24P props just might be a bit tall for the available horsepower

Ok guys, 3800 rpm wot. 30 mph. Motor runs smooth. Rpms do not fluctuate when cruising. Usually cruise at 3200 rpm and 23 mph. Oil pressure at 60 psi when cruising. Prop looks great. I’m missing 700 rpm

I had same problem after a recent service, turned out one spark plug wire fell off. Boat ran fine, just would not get up on plane with a big load. Worth a shot..........check wires.
