Perfect boat - 2020 290 Sundancer

My dealer got in touch with me about this. Turns out the SeaRay factory in Europe offers different products than the US factory. This particular boat, even though based on the Sundance's 320 design, is built in Europe only for the EU market.

For us, the 320 is a great boat, perfect design actually, but out of our budget for the near future. The 290 would be a great compromise, but sadly not available.
Bummer.

IDK. I don't understand the "bow lounge" on anything but calm inland lakes. Couldn't imagine it out on Lake Michigan in a chop or going thru an inlet.

Maybe so... but we are on a much calmer lake, so the bow is a good place to ride. It's also a good place to have a quieter conversation while on the hook at the sandbar, or separate the kids from the adults...

It would work well for us. In addition to having all of the space of a bowrider, we could spend the weekend camping at the sandbar.

For us, the smaller interior works. It's a day boat you can spend the weekend on occasionally. Our focus is mostly day boat... but with our bowrider, there's no real option for sleeping.

I agree. It's being found on more and more new boats, look at the new Regal 36.

Sea Ray has a boat almost identical to that here in the US. I forget the model number, but it was about a 340 sized boat. I toured the boat at the Nunmaker Yachts Boat Show in Slidell, Louisiana late last year. It was an amazing boat but only slightly above my budget (by about $150,000!)

Saw a Formula at the Cleveland boat show a few years ago that had the front lounge area with the cabin below. Loved that boat. I think it was a 35' er.

That's a good looking boat. Love the diesel on it...
