For bravo !!!'s. Is there a way to see the angle that the outdrives are at - i.e. a "rudder indicatior" like you might see on an autopilot. I have trouble figuring our exactly where the outdrives are in relation to the centerline of the boat. I have tried the wheel stop to wheel stop - but can't do that when I'm backing into a dock.

I installed a steering position sensor (Merc Part) that reads through SmartCraft on our 340 B3s. Goes on the stbd assembly and plugged into the harness.

Thanks - this is the info I'm looking for. Can you provide more details - i.e. did you install yourself, cost etc.

Just sent you a PM. If the attachments do not come through, let me know and I can email them to you.

Korkie and Captn, did you get this rudder indicator to work on the BIII? I am looking at adding one, and the OEM looks like a lot less fabrication than an analog one.

Yes I did. Plug n play. There should be a connecting.wire on back of motor that plugs straight in. Then just turn it on in the smart craft menu. Took an hour to install.

Awesome! Do you have some part numbers by chance?
