Fuel tank upgrade?

We have an AB 10VSX with a 30hp Tohatsu. Love the dink however my biggest complaint is that the 3 gallon fuel tank is just not enough. I'm constantly worrying about running out of fuel.Not a fan of the idea of carrying another fuel tank I would like to at least double the fuel capacity. Trying to find a taller verison of the standard 3 gallon tank below. Doesn't seem that i can buy one off the shelf so i'm wondering if i can have one custom made to fit our compartment. Any ideas?

What about the 6-gallon version of exactly what you have?

Dimensions are too wide to fit through the storage opening. The one that there now rubs on the way out(barely fit). Only option is to make it taller.
