Recall Gretchen Whitmer - Michigan

I hate the woman but I can’t have a sail boat cozie on the boat

Put me down for a dozen! Where do i order mine????

I'm trying to order some and I don't live there! I sent a note to the RNC in Michigan to see when they would start selling them. Whitmer is an idiot.

I got this tee shirt when our Governor (also a Dem) wanted to ban guns in Virginia. Perhaps if more people stand up to these incompetent half-wits we can get back to having fun again.

I’m seeing a pattern with these lib governors. They’re signing orders to require mask everywhere. Guess what our follower governor will be doing too...
I WILL NOT wear a mask outdoors. As it is now i will only wear one in stores that ask that you do. Figure its their house, their rules. Most places i go couldnt care less anyhow

Same as me. Never, unless I absolutely have to.

She’s such a follower that I can see her signing the same order

Whitmer’s lawyers can’t even give a justification for keeping gyms closed. “Facts and Data”

If you did not read this, you must! For those of you that will not click the link here’s the meat of the judges quote.

“In the Governor’s own words, those choices have been based on data and science, and the Court commends and respects that. But when asked what data, science, or even rationale supports the continued closure of indoor gyms, Defendants presented nothing beyond ‘trust us, they’re still dangerous.’ From that vague statement and nothing more, the Court cannot create a set of facts that rationally connects the restriction with the legitimate government interest of protecting the public health.”

Kudos to that judge.

Kudos to that judge.

Clearly....truth and logic won the day.

When will the dems learn that people get tired of them citing: "the children", "lives lost", "not doing your fair share", "systemic racism", "white privilege" to further their socialist control over American lives?

Kick them to the curb.

It started out innocently enough. I began to think at parties now and then -- just to loosen up and be a part of the crowd.
Inevitably, though, one thought led to another and soon I was more than just a social thinker.

I began to think alone -- "to relax", I told myself -- but I knew it wasn't true. Thinking became more and more important to me and finally I was thinking all the time.

That was when things began to sour at home. One evening I turned off the TV and asked my wife about the meaning of life. She spent that night at her mother's.

I began to think on the job. I knew that thinking and employment don't mix, but I couldn't help myself.

I began to avoid friends at lunchtime so I could read Thoreau, Muir, Confucius and Kafka. I would return to the office dizzied and confused, asking, "What is it exactly we are doing here?"

One day the boss called me in. He said, "Listen, I like you and it hurts me to say this, but your thinking has become a real problem. If you don't stop thinking on the job, you'll have to find another job."

This gave me a lot to think about. I came home early after my conversation with the boss. "Honey," I confessed, "I've been thinking..."

"I know you've been thinking," she said, "and I want a divorce!" "But Honey, surely it's not that serious." "It is serious," she said, lower lip aquiver.

"You think as much as college professors and college professors don't make that much money, so if you keep on thinking, we won't have any money!"
"That's a faulty syllogism," I said impatiently.
She exploded in tears of rage and frustration, but I was in no mood to deal with the emotional drama.

"I'm going to the library," I snarled as I stomped out the door.
I headed for the library, in the mood for some John Locke. I roared into the parking lot with NPR on the radio and ran up to the big glass doors.

They didn't open. The library was closed.

To this day, I believe that a Higher Power was looking out for me that night.

Leaning on the unfeeling glass, whimpering for Emerson, a poster caught my eye, "Friend, is heavy thinking ruining your life?" it asked.

You probably recognize that line. It comes from the standard Thinkers Anonymous poster.

This is why I am what I am today: a recovering thinker.

I never miss a TA meeting. At each meeting we watch a non-educational video; last week it was "Porky's." Then we share experiences about how we avoided thinking since the last meeting.

I still have my job, and things are a lot better at home. Life just seemed easier, somehow, as soon as I stopped thinking. I think the road to recovery is nearly complete for me.

Today I took the final step...I joined the Democratic Party

I think you made a mistake. Democrats are thinking so much on how to defeat Trump that they are destroying half the country.... if people want to be a non-thinking follower then so be it...

I will stick to thinking about how to grow my business and make this country better then when I started.

This destruction we are seeing is a disgrace

Where we need to focus our efforts is on how to get more people to think.

GFC - My father-in-law used to have a library in his house which they recently sold. Over beers at the cabin he asked me years ago, "Have you ever seen a non-fiction or poetry book in my library?". I said, "Come to think about it Doug, no I haven't."

"That's because I don't read that shit!" was his reply. He's a Dr. edit: and not a liberal
