Hi - I just bought my SD 290 and in the galley 2 of the drawers' round push buttons are stuck, pushed in - I am replacing them so if I damage them it's not a problem.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

Had one get stuck on my 310 and used a rubber mallet to give it a good tap and it popped right out

Push the drawer in hard to take any pressure off the latch then star pushing the button. Worst case unscrew button get a screw drive and hammer blow it out through the hole then replace it.

If you can get the button to spin at all, turn it counter clockwise and then try to release it. Keep working with it, they can be a pain but normally release after 647 tries.
Haha! You're right - after a few hundred times they pop out. I just haven't gotten up to the 647th yet - These are real buggers

I think on this last one this is what I will do. Frustrating. Did you find this happened after a long number of years or were they like this even when newer?

I bought a couple of them as spares and when one acts up I replace it before I can't get them to work. Their plastic so they wear out .

I had to hit one pretty good and it seemed to break free in the head. The internal parts seemed to had got stuck together from probably the moisture in the bathroom when taking showers, so when I gave it a good pop i was able to get knob to come out. I took it apart and oiled it up and it’s worked ever since.
