Too true. So many news outlets and politicians are so far into "pandemic porn" & "fear porn" they can't see the damage they do with their incomplete narratives.

What we are witnessing right now are the progressives in panic over the economy rebounding faster than they anticipated. So they are trying to re-energize the panic of covid with the hopes of going back to lockdowns.

To show the utter BS, here they had one of the funerals for George Floyd in which they allowed thousands to gather, no social distancing and no mask requirement. But now they have placed laws that fine businesses if anyone enters not wearing a mask.

CDC Confirms Extremely Low COVID-19 Death Rate

Most people are more likely to wind up six feet under because of almost anything else under the sun other than COVID-19.

The CDC just came out with a report that should be earth-shattering to the narrative of the political class, yet it will go into the thick pile of vital data and information about the virus that is not getting out to the public. For the first time, the CDC has attempted to offer a real estimate of the overall death rate for COVID-19, and under its most likely scenario, the number is 0.26%. Officials estimate a 0.4% fatality rate among those who are symptomatic and project a 35% rate of asymptomatic cases among those infected, which drops the overall infection fatality rate (IFR) to just 0.26% — almost exactly where Stanford researchers pegged it a month ago.

The CFR in NC is 2.2% based on yesterday government data. More than 60% of reported deaths were in nursing homes or other long term care facilities. The number of confirmed cases is recognized to be underreported due to many infected having few or no symptoms. So what is the actual CFR? Some reports suggest that the actual number of infections is ten time the confirmed number. So the CFR is likely 1% or less. Higher than the flu but a lot less than the 6% that was being thrown around 4 months ago.
Hospitalizations have increased over the past month but have stabilized at around 900. At the same time confirmed cases have increased by almost 100% in the past week. So that seems to indicate that despite the number of new positive results the severity of recent cases is down. That coincides with the shift towards infections being in younger persons than at the outset.
The MSM and the liberal politicians have refused to draw a correlation between the recent riots and the huge increase in positive tests 14 plus days later. Big surprise.
 
Here in Texas they are whipping the hysteria daily. Sending out “red alerts” on phones, TV and radio.

Bars are now closed down, and restaurants back down to 50%. The next goal is to get them down to 25%. In several counties no elective medical procedures.

And now the new thing is “the government is covering up all the deaths”....... yea right.
 
Here are some interesting numbers. Note the spike in NJ deaths. NJ is now higher than NY in total deaths.

My state, FL, has 15 deaths per 100K population, yet such commotion about the number of new deaths. New deaths or deaths per 100K of population? Which is the most important number? It seems to me the wrong numbers are being highlighted, and it's done to stir up fear, and so on.

I like to use a touch screen myself. This way, I can be certain my vote counts.

I say, only Identification requirement should be for touch screen voting. This way, we can know who voted the wrong way!

Isn’t this “Who we are?”.
 
I’ve left Fox News a while ago. It’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I’ll listen to Newsmax or search individual sources.
