Vetus Thruster Stuck on couple times!

I have had both the front and aft thruster
stick in the on position. Needless to say this always nearly causes a disaster.
Has anyone else had this happen?
What do I need to check?

Ours would not work a few times, Pecked on the coils and it would work. No lose wires or anything. This was when it was new, After a year of use it never done it again. I guess I'm lucky they stuck in the open position and not closed !!

I would think strongly about replacing the relays. Also check you voltage at the batteries, Low voltage will create a higher amperage draw when using the thrusters possibly causing the contacts to burn and stick in the relays.

Replacing both the front and rear thruster relays.($560 each) and the dual
Joy stick control ( $411).
Florida Bow Thruster. Very helpful on the telephone .
