There are 1.3M absentee voters on average....she mailed out 7.1M absentee applications.... If this doesn’t smell like Voter fraud nothing does

I just watched CBS morning show and they blamed the damns breach on Climate change.... I bet the government inspectors are glad it’s not their fault

Heard the same thing. Everything is climate change
How long has it been since we been yelling at the sky about climate change?.... you would think everything would be fixed now if we knew it was coming....what am I missing? :)

Back to mail in ballots for a moment--what is the whole country so afraid of with voting by mail. WA has done that for years and it works. We get our ballots and a voter pamphlet about 2 weeks or so ahead of the election date.

You just mark your ballot, sign it and put it in the envelope and mail it back. Easy Peasy.

I don't understand what the big deal is over this.

How many Republicans have been elected in your state? :)

As an absentee voter, I vote by mail in Texas. I don’t have an issue with it and feel the process is very secure. They don’t make it easy, and you can see the status of your ballot online once they get it. Just have to enter name and last 4 of social. Seeing as I have to jump through several hoops to register individually for every single election in order to receive my ballot, then several hoops again for sending it in, sealing it in privacy envelope, signing privacy envelope, enclosing cover sheet, etc, etc ..I don’t see how anyone could con the system and vote fraudulently.

How do you know for sure, that what you see online is what is actually submitted?

Why wouldn’t it be? You’d have to have an awful lot of dishonest people involved in a mass scheme AND able to keep their mouth shut in order to pull off a fraudulent voting system. I guess I still have faith that government voting clerks sworn to do their duty, do just that. I also don’t have faith that people could keep a secret it it were the other way around. I have yet to see one viable shred of evidence of voter fraud, anywhere in the US. Until I do, I trust the system in place. I don’t have a choice. I vote in a largely Republican controlled county.

You need to visit the Appalachia area of the country. People have been convicted of voter fraud here for along time.

In 2016 more people voted in Detroit than there are registered voters. Now make it mail in votes...
I remember that from 2016. Dead voters and multiple voters with same name. There was a federal lawsuit filed over it. Wonder if all those deceased voters will get their absentee ballot applications this time around.

Voter fraud
OK, can ya 'splain dat to this old guy. In our system they mail me a ballot. I had to have voted within the past 2 or 3 elections to get a ballot. If I haven't voted I don't get no stinkin' ballot. Ballots are bar coded so when they go back in they get scanned. If the ballot is fraudulent the bar code reader kicks it out and a real, live human examines it.

Under this system it would be near impossible to create voter fraud. Can't have more people voting than get ballots so no dead people voting, no unregistered democrats, oops I mean unregistered illegal aliens voting, etc.

I guess I'm OK with the vote by mail...IF...there is voter registration and an application for a ballot is received and checked against the registration roll. That's the way it works for absentee ballots which I have been using since gaining senior citizen status a few years ago. Any system that just distributes ballots without the application process, I would object to.
