Dinghy Bottom Paint?

I left our new dinghy in the water for 3
Days and it got nasty. It’s in fresh water on the Ohio River in a cove that muddies up after a hard rain. Already ordered a ez -port to drive it up on like a jet ski port just bigger.
Question is do you think I should also paint the bottom. We have intentions of towing it when we go out, so it will be in the water a lot.

With the ez port I wouldn't bother - when I left mine in, I just used petit hydracoat like the "big" boat

When we travel it will be in the water a week at a time. After 3 days it was nasty. Had to be scrubbed and still is stained some.

My buddy painted his brand new AB RIB you have to paint the tubes also it looks terrible I’d rather pull it after a few days and clean it. It ruined the look of the boat if you ask me.

We keep RIB (Walker Bay 360) in the water most of the time so I painted the bottom. Total Boat from Jamestown Distributors has paint for inflatables (hypalon and PVC). It's more flexible and light gray. Growth with it on is nearly non-existent.

I was thinking just to paint the fiberglass
Bottom, not the inflatable tubes.

the tubes sit in the water deeper at the stern, they'll be a bugger to get barnicles off

Paint in the right is for the hard bottom. Paint on the right is a light grey flexible anti fouling for inflatables. Looks fine in my rib. Got it from Defender. Worked great all last season in a high fouling area.

I went with the hydrocoat for the hard bottom this year because it’s harder than the flexible stuff. I lost a lot of paint when beaching the RIB last season.

Just installed this ez dock for dinghy at the marina. We like it, ordered it 10’ wide so it filled up the whole slip.
