Overnight without generator

i can confirm what other say - a healthy 27 group battery will easily run a fridge , stereo and lights overnight. i have two batteries - switch one off to keep it for engine start while the other runs the stuff to be safe but found out it will run needed items even longer than one night .

If you are still concerned after reading the comments above, just do a warm-fuzzy test. Disconnect the shore power at your slip on a Friday, turn your anchor light on at night, and see how it does in the comfort and safety of your slip.

With No Air conditioning, no television ? This is blasphemy!!

seriously though, good point. There’s a place I can go on a mooring only about a mile away without high stress. The feedback has been helpful.

If you are not used to anchoring at night and wind comes up you will use more power when you stay up and wonder if you are drifting. You will need power to see to play cards and keep your depth gauged on. We had a 28 footer at water line with two group 27 deep cycle batteries. we were good for weekend with small refrigerator, anchor light and cabin lights on.
