Was this plug and play or did it require a lot of rewiring?

Pretty much plug and play.

Thanks Korkie, so will it flop over backwards then? I was going to use lines to the aft cleats and maybe two support poles underneath.
My tech has done this, saw the end results briefly a few months back. The hatch was standing straight up, he then pulled the engine out with a lift. Unfortunately, I don’t know where he secured it, but I did see ropes attached to the cleats, and 2x4 propping it open, but the 2x4s were not load bearing, just a precaution in case it did come forward.

Hey guys I posted this a while back and didn't get any usable answers -

I have a crack in this unit in my Sea Ray 320 2003 - looking to replace during off season while being completely renovated interior - any idea where I can get replacement or any ideas

I am guessing that is really hard, if not impossible, to replace. Have you thought about trying a repair, I want to say there is a way to weld plastic, and that is such a hard to see part, might be good enough. Not too many people are going to be staring at it to see if it is perfect.

I've never owned a Sea Ray that didn't have a crack somewhere in that side storage area. I just thought they came that way.

Do you think this could be fitted to a 2003? It has Smart Craft but not like 2005 and above...

If engines are smart craft capable you will need the harness run from the engine to the dash. More work and more money but doable. Smartcraft mobile would probably be the cheapest and easiest.

One of the best upgrades/fixes I’ve done so far. New fridge for galley. Super easy, fits right in. I forgot to bring a standard PC cable for the 120v, but I’ll do that next time I’m down. There is a 120v outlet right behind it to plug into.

Love the Flooring - would like to know how you did it and what the story is - interested in learning about it.

PS - I did the same fridge upgrade and it also went flawlessly and was super easy upgrade. Although I bought the fridges in Feb and installed in May and when I opened it there was a ding in the door - nothing I could do - sucks for $1000 fridge.

Question on the cockpit fridge. I’m waiting for mine to die (2004). Isn’t the port back of the refrigerator angled? Replacement is “plug and play”?

Ive replaced mine as well. The originals are angled but the replacements do not need to be. All kinds of space back there

I had to strip the DC wires, and drill holes in the flange of the fridge. Don’t recall it being angled, but it is still only 2.7 cubic ft, so it is not technically larger, but it looks like it? I replaced the cockpit a few years ago, then replaced it under warranty a month ago (the knob in the back would spin forever, so impossible to know the setting, and the latch broke, so if you accelerated, door would fly open). That was truly plug and play, these fridges use a removable DC and AC plug, so I just unplugged and plugged in new one.

Steven,
The flooring is c-flor and was installed by a company here in St Pete FL. They did a great job, but took them forever to get the floor even to put it down. They honored the quoted price of 3500, but I think they put that much or more labor into it! If you can do it yourself, that’s the way to go. I think if you can find flooring water resistant and flexible (several places the curved it up a slope), that’s the way to go. One thing I do not like, the floor slats come in 2 pieces, one for the plank, 2” wide or whatever that is, and then the white insert is a separate piece, about 1/4” thick, one hidden spot the 1/4” piece is coming up, so I need to glue it down.
