Wanted Gypsy for lofran winless progress 1

In desperate need of a Gypsy for lofran progress 2. We do NoT want to replace the whole winless. We had the motor rebuilt and and had a new finger made now we only need the Gypsy ? Please call me if you have one

So excited ... We need a progress 1!!!! Is the gipsy in good shape . I understand it’s used so not looking for perfect . How much do you want for it? We really only need the Gypsy but will buy the whole thing for a reasonable price . I’ve listed my phone number above.

Marci, do you have the old gypsy? They really don't go bad, are you sure that you just don't need the spring to keep the new finger you had made tight against the rode?
 
Yes we have the old gipsy. My friend is a former boat mechanic and now master auto mechanic. We’ve taken the motor off and had it rebuilt. I helped him reinstall it. The haul is small and it was hard but we did it. I was lucky enough to find a gentleman on clubsearay that was making the finger for $60. Imtra is now selling them for $160. But the gipsy grooves are so worn it won’t catch the rope. If anyone needs info on getting a new finger or having the motor rebuilt let me know. But still looking for the elusive gipsy.
 
Did this gypsy/progress 1 ever get sold? I need a new/used gypsy as the old one on the bought I bought is trashed.

Yes, unit works fine but teeth on gypsy and chewed up. I know I can replace the whole unit with a Project 1000 but trying to avoid the cost of a complete new unit when all it needs is a gypsy. Unfortunately, Lofrans no longer makes it and can't find it anywhere online.
