Are the Searay galley countertops ever wet sanded and polished? If so (or even if not), what are the recommendations for getting them back to a mirror shine?
 
I use Granite Gold Polish that I buy at Home Depot to keep my counters looking good.
 
Must have created s**t loads of dust? But you're obviously happy with the final results?? Did you manage to hookup a vac to the orbital sander?

Didn't really kick up a lot of dust. I just used a sander with the attachment for recapturing the dust. The messy part was compounding, which still wasn't that bad.
 
You could have avoided the compounding by just going with finer sand paper, they make it to 6000 grit which is finer than compound.
