Boat Info
Looking at 1989 390 searay express
Engines
454 twin
My wife and I are interested in a particular 1989 390 sea ray express with low hour 454 engines. The boat has only ever been stored indoors and heated the story goes.

Looking forward to seeing it, we live in vancouver BC and the boat is being transported from the US soon (tm). First sea trial I will be watching operating temps and considering the hull/prop match as I feel all issues aside this is perhaps best way to optimize fuel and performance.

Super excited. We dont yet know where we are going to moor, and we have zero idea of where to go for day trips but are just stoked to begin exploring.

Regardless of which boat we finally end up with where is a decent place to get a slip? Seems like alot of places have long waiting lists!

Appreciate this forum have a feeling it'll be a great source of info and maybe even make a few friends on the way.

I have mine 21 years now and it's been great to me.it's also a easy boat to work on, i've been in every nook and cranny and knower inside and out...:)

Welcome neighbor to the north... We love cruising the Gulf Islands.

Number 1 rule here — without pictures it didn’t happen.

sorry don't know to correct the ones that came out sideways

Check to see if the fresh water tank has been replaced. It sets in the center of the galley under the hatches. If not replaced it is a big expense and job to do.

Here is another add on to think about that will keep the boat on a level plane and raise the speed of the boat some.

Welcome to CSR and good looking boat!

in order to make the pictures straight you have to edit them on your iPhone. All you do is open up the picture and touch edit then save it and it will correct them.
