Ok guys anyone know of the wire channel to run new HMDI cables from the main TV area in the salon to the TV's in the staterooms? I got my Direct TV recievers working and upgraded all the monitors to new units and want to get HD feeds to both staterooms. Has anyone done this upgrade yet? Wondering how hard this is going to be.

I didn't think you could get HD without the giant tracvision hd7 for ~10k or the similar Intellian

I believe Direct TV moved all of their HD programming to two satellites several years ago which broadcast only on the KA band. If I remember Raymarine domes are limited to SD programming irregardless of which receivers you may have connected.

Well boat is still in the yard, 80 degrees outside and cannot stand it that I have stuff to do but no boat in the slip to work on... Good news is got a lot of goodies this week and the garage needs a cleaning from selling the Princess and buying the Sea Ray. Check out my new table from Marine Teak. Looks awesome and can't wait to replace that POS Sea Ray table with this. Even the Wifey got excited and volunteered to coat it in SEMCO teak sealer so she is ready to install next week.

That looks great! Does it have the connection on the back side that accepts the standard Sea Ray base pole?

You just unbolt the one from the Sea Ray table and bolt it to this.

Question guys... Does anyone have the dash measurement for the MFD units? I currently have 2 12" Raymarine A series and would like to go to twin 16" versons. Since the boat is in the yard I cannot go measure right now. Anyone know if this can happen?

The 16" MFD's won't fit in standard cut outs behind the dash panel, but this guy was able to find someone to customize his dash to fit them.

Call Tecnografic. They are a site sponsor and VERY helpful. They will know.

I'll save you some time...Technografic will tell you there's no way you can fit two 12" MFD's. This is what they told me when they made my new panel 2 years ago in the factory grey birch pattern, and the only reason I don't have two 16" MFD's like Shark Tooth does in video.

The overhead light switch works as an on/off and dimmer if the lights installed are dimmable. I installed blue/white lights, when you turn them on they turn on white first and dim as desired, turn them off and back on within two seconds and they come back on as blue and dim as desired. Pretty cool feature.

I am looking for the Blue/White lights myself. Did you find bulbs or did you have to change out the light fixtures themselves?

Or any other multi color cockpit lights, anyone know of any that will work?

I did upgrade with the Lumitec Orbits and adaptors. 4 color LED and much more light than the old Perko's. Have to switch out the old dimmer switch and old school dimmer module. Pics on page 24 of this thread.

I found LED replacement pin bulbs and purchased G4 adapters that are used. Did not have to change fixtures, dimmers or switches.

Well they put her back in the water today... Had new bottom paint, prop speed, fixed 2 spots that were found as manufacture defect and de-lamming, cleaned out all the through hulls and replaced those hoses. Picking her up Tuesday to take her home and then the engine work starts. Thanks to the wonderfull team at First Performance Marine in Ft. Lauderdale. They are truly a first class operation
