Moving along, Fusion Head unit is in, amps are wired (2) 800s and (1) 1000, pod and camera locations are confirmed.

Everything is installed and operational, ran it through its paces yesterday before finalizing the panels at the helm to clean up the install.

Breaking the pod into two zones is definitely the way to go.

With my boy sitting on the bow I could really push the sound to him at a high volume while I was in the cockpit talking with my buddy and not have to scream. I anticipate the same will be true to people on a pad in the water behind the boat.

where did you get the speaker pods to mount on the arch?

I wasn’t as happy as I thought with the two 10” subs. So I added an 18” dual voice coil and pushing 2500 watts to each coil. also added two more 9” at the stern along with four new tweeters to bring up the high end a touch.

Damn, there is doing it and then doing it right! Nice job and killer equipment. Love the under sink grill and the sub grill. That boat has got to sound amazing. That Apollo head unit is cool, just wish it was easier to link them together. Nice job.

During the install of the new amps/ 18" sub & batteries / charger, I found some bad wires form the charger to the battery bank that feeds the first round of my audio upgrades. As such, I made some very large changes for the additional sound output that I was originally looking for under false pretenses as the amps that were pushing the first round of audio upgrades were not getting the full required volts when I pushed them....So now I have what I can only describe as ridiculous sound output.

while we were testing the system, the manager of the yacht club I dock at sent a man down to let me know we had not only interrupted his staff meeting but additionally knocked some hanging artifacts off the wall, see attached image as that building is over 115' from the back of my boat....lol
