The biggest Sea Ray is now the SLX 400?

I was at the Seattle Boat Show. The Cruisers Yachts sales guy specifically said that they were quite happy they no longer have to compete with Sea Ray. They seemed to be doing well and had some very compelling models. They ranged from an equivalent to the Sea Ray 340 (the Cruisers 35 Express looks like a boat, yay!), but also had some neat SUV like boats (the Cantius looked great in person if that's the look you like).
Back to Sea Ray: I really did like the 2020 Sea Ray 350, but its cost seemed way out of proportion.
It was a bittersweet Boatshow for me. I left with a much stronger appreciation for my 340, but the Sea Ray line is so different. I wonder if my boat is the last Sea Ray I'll own.
The other boat I liked a lot was the Cutwater. That may be our last boat.

My wife and I are patiently waiting for the upcoming Back Cove 39O. That’ll be the boat that moves us away from our current Sundancer. But it’ll be years before the depreciation curve gets into our price range.

I'm not sold on outboards for my type of boating, but the BC 39O looks good. I like the split bunks in the 2nd "state room". It would be nice if they are able to have the be able to slide together / apart like they do on some of the Sabre models. You might have to wait a while though - the Back Coves seem to hold their value pretty well.

It kind of makes you wonder, though, whether there will be a decline in 35-50 foot boats being sold overall, causing those that are out there to depreciate more slowly.

I don't care for the new Sea Ray cruisers. My boat is in excellent shape. I plan to keep it a long time. I bought it very well. With the price of new boats outrageously high I expect mine to hold its value.

If outboards aren’t the driving factor you might think about looking sooner. We spent almost a year searching for our Sabre. We looked at several of various production years and found one thing in common; all were superbly cared for. One 1990 that we saw in Maine rivaled new boat condition.
