2004 Sundancer 340

That’s a good reminder. Leaving dock, no horn. But leaving the slipway to the waterway I hit the horn every time. Sometimes I see folks cruising down the waterway, obliviously close to the end each pier they pass.
The way my slip is arranged, I back down the slipway to leave, so warning others is a must. So yes, I use the horn then.

If you all don't mind I'm another new 340 owner with a couple questions. Do the fuel tanks draw down in tandem or can I (should I) isolate them? Also, does anyone know what the rotation is for each side? I have an '05 340 with 8.1 Mercs. Thanks in advance.

The tanks drawdown individually and the genset pulls from the starboard side.

The 8.1 engines rotate the same the transmissions create the counter rotations.

Thanks Kevin that's helpful. I've been checking out that thread too, there's a lot there! Do you know what the prop rotations are?
 
Starboard turns right port turns left looking at the stern. Stock props 18x21 and 18x21.5
