I received a 390 express cruiser that looks pretty solid but seems to have leaked a lot when it rained and it ruined the floor under the refrigerator. I saw it filled the dry storage area also.
the person I received the boat from said he could never figure out the leak. Pascoe says a lot did leak.
Can I paint the dash with that rubber paint to keep water from leaking down the dash?
Thanks

The drain pipe from the fridge empties directly onto the floor. I installed a 1/2" PEX pipe from the back of the fridge that empties into the shower sump box outside of the bathroom door. You may have other issues though.

My 390 used to leak at the right front corner of the windshield where the wires for the windshield wipers passes thru the deck. Hard to get to but I stopped the leak using clear silicone from the outside and inside the windshield.

They all had some sort of leak, Thank God the few I had i found and took care of them. Had water Dripping after a heavy rain just to the left of the Kitchen sink (The Fix) On the inside of the Starboard Windshield corner post are the wires to the wipers. Well rain water was getting in running down the wire and dropping off at the lowest point. took care of that been fine ever since. Also had to remove the complete port an starboard window frames reseal them, Reinstalled them that did the trick. She's ship shape and leak free

Thanks for the replies, lots of good sensible answers to me that I can do.
Appreciate it

I removed the plastic screw cap moulding at that corner, removed several screws, gently raised up the windsheild frame enough to squirt in some caulking to stop that leak.
thanks will do

Did you have to remove the window or just put silicone on the wires?

I left the windshield in place and applied silicone in the corner behind the windshield frame and also in the outside corner after removing the screw cover.

I Also got it from inside I removed the ceiling panel and all the wood above the side windows just to be sure there was nothing else !

I also removed the ceiling panel and replaced the hoses going to the air horn. If I also remember I replace a partially rotted section of teak plywood trim. It's been dry for 8 years. I love my 390 it's the perfect boat for me and my GF.
