How to remove microwave

Panasonic microwave pooped out. 2 questions:

Is it worth repairing or should it just be replaced?

How does the trim come off of fridge to get to the screws that hold the microwave in?

We saw that post before we started our thread. Our trim is not anything like that one. It may however, still have the clips. Hope someone can clarify for us.

Welp. I tried. Kudos for trying to figure it out first.
 
If you have the NorCold fridge, the top piece of trim does not snap on/off. However the long side pieces do. Open the doors on the refrigerator/freezer and work a putty knife under the inside edge and it will just pop off. It is held on by clips that are part of the refrigerator. You will not break it and it will take a little force. The bottom piece just pulls straight off and remove the ones on the sides. You will see 4-6 screws under trim that hold the unit tight against the wooden cabinet. Remove the screws and work the fridge back and forth to pull it out into the floor. Put down towels or something so you do not scratch the floor. Once out, look under the shelf that holds the microwave and you should see 4 screws. Remove them and slide out the microwave.

My turntable quit on my Tappan unit. I found a turntable motor that I had to modify the little shaft with a dremel, but it works to perfection again.
