Current situation.....

Well, I decided to go with drain holes and the sloped wood. I'll glass it in to guide the water to the holes. Clamshell the outside. I have the upholstery for it to put back in. We're redoing the entire thing so I wanted to take care of this while I was in there. Also going to use the hewsepipe. I'll post some pictures when done. Thanks guys.

It doesn't look like you have an anchor rode locker that is set up like a well. But its hard to tell from the pictures. It looks like a shelf that would allow any water to drain back to the cabin? If that is the problem, it should be easy to build a wall on the inside (maybe open at the top?) and glass it in so it forms a well. Then you do what Summer daze said above, drill a drain hole (or two, one on each side) at a low spot out the side of the hull so it drains overboard and cover with clamshells.

I didn't see this. Sorry. It is set up as a well. There's a pre build wood cabinet that gets screwed in there and it forms a well with that shelf. Problem is there's no drain so it backs up and comes out between the shelf and the bottom of the cabinet that sits on top of it.
