I recently got a 1998 Sea Ray 290 Sundancer and I am in the process of changing all the lights to LED among other things. The inside is covered in Gold, knobs, switches. lights etc. My wife hates it and I don't blame her. I started to recently switch things to chrome/silver and I am in the process of doing the lights. There are covers over the above cabin light fixtures, 2 are large the rest are small. My plan was to paint them chrome, however the plastics lens seems to be attached to the outer gold cover and it would be very hard to tape off. Has anyone replaced just the lens and gold cover? I am fine with the fixture itself, its all LED now. Unless its easier to replace it all. Thanks!
